Born in Montereau Fault Yonne, in Seine & Marne, France
Lived in Fontainebleau, with his parents and siblings,
in a house close to the forest.
His primary school teachers were very 'Old School'
and Eric gathered the most precious lore from them.
Baccalauréat Degree, equivalent to A-Levels, with honors.
One month of travel in Europe: Helsinki, Salzburg, Rome, Kraków.
Master Degree in Software Engineering.
Master Degree in Video Games and Interactive Media.
Eric joins a French start-up,
member of W3C.
He studies Japanese and travels a lot,
with multiple trips to Japan and Italy,
and some to the USA, China, and the Philippines.
Eric discovered Graphic Design in a wonderful Paris bookshop.
Cécile opened the door and Eric fell in love.
Eric worked as a Software Engineer for 15 years
while teaching himself graphic design,
first from books alone,
then with the help of online and distance learning.

Birth of Sam. Eric became a dad.
In association with artist Alève Mine, Eric developed "7 Days Gallery",
an award-winning application promoting designers and artists
on digital television.
Eric moved from Paris to Compiègne, in a 1930s brick house which became their family home.
Eric learned golf, for work,
until the golf of Compiègne closed its doors.
Then the startup he was working for ran through its funding
and folded.
Birth of Jay. Sam has a brother.
Eric transitioned from Computer Science to Instructional Design for Art & Creation.
Eric started visual and historical research
to confront the perspectives of Māori and Europeans
in the context of the commemorations of 250 years
since the arrival of James Cook in New Zealand.
Eric took part in the assessment and beta testing of Art Explora Academy, an online platform to learn art history.
With Sophie Bénistand, Eric started puzzling over the creation of a new map to make the Louvre museum more accessible.
Eric is reviewing diverse approaches for introductions to art history, from Maria Montessori to online learning.
